Hi,
I am a Brazilian freelance photographer whose photographs have appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world and in galleries from London to São Paulo.
I was born in Sao Paulo and studied photography at London College of Printing and post-graduate studies in photojournalism at the University of Wales. Since 1998 I have participated in exhibitions in major museums and galleries in Brazil and abroad. My work is always based on contemporary issues around the world, towards Brazil and developing countries.
I have worked for several international publications, such as The Independent, The Irish Times, Boston Globe and Marie Claire, and I frequently work for NGOs in London, such as CAFOD, War on Want, Christian Aid, Survival International and Kinetika. In recent years, I developed two long-term projects: the role of water in our lives, situations are related to the topic in several countries, and festivals in different cultures.
I hope you enjoy my work.
Marcella
